The Tallahassee Syncopators are a premier traditional jazz ensemble dedicated to keeping the vibrant spirit of early New Orleans jazz alive in North Florida. Originally forming as the popular "Trad Night" residency group at Soundbar, the band has grown into a cornerstone of the Tallahassee music scene, regularly captivating local audiences at top venues like The Req Room.

Combining soulful instrumentation with infectious rhythm, the Syncopators specialize in traditional, foot-stomping New Orleans-style traditional jazz. The ensemble boasts a powerhouse lineup of seasoned players, educators, and FSU Jazz associates, including but not limited to:
